The DevResults Forms tool lets you auto-populate documents with your program information from DevResults. For example, with the placeholder [[Activity_Name]] in a Forms template, you can download a document for any activity with the correct name filled out for you.
Today we added a few additional placeholders to let you pull an activity's geographic information into a downloaded document. Those placeholders are:
- [[Activity_GeoLevel1]]
- [[Activity_GeoLevel2]]
- [[Activity_GeoLevel3]]
- [[Activity_GeoLevel4]]
- [[Activity_Locations]]
Because different places have different names for their administrative division levels, we refer to them by number. For this site, Level 1 would be Region and Level 2 would be Prefecture. (Level 0 would be Guinea, which would be the same for all activities so a placeholder is not needed.)
The placeholder [[Activity_GeoLevel1]] in a template for this site would be auto-populated with a list of the regions assigned to this activity, separated by commas (i.e. Boké, Conakry, Kankan, Kindia, Labé). These are shown in an activity's geography tab.
Check out our knowledge base for a list of all placeholders for Forms Activity Templates.
